The problem with that is that when you are walking across the Olympic Green...(nothing green about it- it's asphalt and concrete) it can get hot-hot-hot.
But at least the sky has been nice.

That's the #8 mass transit line, at this point it's an elevated line, later it's a subway.
11 stops away is the transfer to the #1 line that would take you to Tian'anmen Square & the Forbidden City.
Can you xfer to the #7 to Shea?
